The 2020 Lawrence Old Fashioned Christmas Parade (LOFCP) is on hold until further notice. Due to the ongoing uncertainty from COVID 19 and potential reconfiguration of Massachusetts Street to accommodate safe business reopening, we feel it is prudent to put parade plans on hold at this time. We will continue to monitor the situation and will make a final decision closer to the event date.
LOFCP is making this announcement in the wake of other large events being cancelled or put on hold due to the pandemic. In addition, the LOFCP supports efforts to help downtown businesses reopen safely; however, the potential reconfiguration of Massachusetts Street may make it difficult or impossible for some of our entries to safely participate.
